A brilliant idea on Instructables from my friend Pippa.
I love knitting but I have phases of it. Knitting is more of an Autumn/Winter thing for me. There's something that just feels so right about curling up on a comfy chair in front of the fire with my mug of steaming hot chocolate and getting out my needles.
I am quite an impatient knitter though so quick and easy patterns with chunky wool, which knits up quickly, are the norm for me.
Talking of knitting, a few people have emailed and asked for the pattern for my knitted robots. I will be putting this together quite soon and then a PDF version will be available in my Etsy and Folksy shops so watch this space!
Recently my friend Debs has introduced me to the wonderfulness that is sun flower seeds dry roasted in soy sauce. They have the most amazing flavour and after Debs bringing some into work for me I had to make my own. They are simplicity itself! All you have to do is throw a few handfuls of sunflower seeds into a roasting pan with some soy sauce and cook in a hot oven for about 10 minutes. Delicious! One tip - always prepare more than you think you are going to need. If you dare to offer them to any members of your family you will find them snaffled in next to no time!
These are a brilliant healthy snack as they are a great source of protein, Vitamin E, iron, zinc and magnesium. In addition to this they are also useful in lowering cholesterol levels. What a little powerhouse the sunflower seed is!
Well, its a new year and this happy bunny has a brand new Macbook Pro! Yay!! I love Apple products because they are so user friendly and instantly usable. Being the impatient person I am, this is heaven for me!
Along with my new Macbook I also got a monitor for my desktop so that I can turn it into a regular computer and I got Apple TV so that we can watch everything on our family TV too! Happy happy!!
